Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
  • Identify tools and equipment necessary for manufacturing flight hardware.
  • Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
  • Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
  • Develop manufacturing plans and artifacts for new products.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
  • Transition from development to production, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals, including GD&T.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other technical tools.
  • Hands-on experience with flight hardware construction.
  • Experience with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or satellites is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
