Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment necessary for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Develop manufacturing plans and artifacts for new products.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Transition from development to production, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals, including GD&T.
- Proficient in CAD software and other technical tools.
- Hands-on experience with flight hardware construction.
- Experience with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or satellites is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
