Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for assemblies and installations.
  • Manage build sequence and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review engineering drawings and approve them for manufacturing.
  • Design tooling and fixtures to assist in the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and implement process improvements on the production floor.
  • Define and support repair and rework activities.
  • Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD and software skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is desired.
