Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for assemblies and installations.
- Manage build sequence and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and approve them for manufacturing.
- Design tooling and fixtures to assist in the manufacturing process.
- Identify and implement process improvements on the production floor.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in CAD and software skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is desired.
