Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for assemblies and installations.
- Manage the build sequence and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
- Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
- Design tooling and fixtures to assist the manufacturing process.
- Identify and implement process improvements on the production floor.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
- Strong collaboration skills across teams.
- Proficiency in CAD and other software tools.
- Experience with industry quality systems like AS9100 is desired.
