Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
- Collaborate with design and systems engineering teams to ensure integration of materials and processes.
- Create, interpret, and modify work instructions and routings for technicians.
- Improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize build sequences throughout the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in support of safe human spaceflight.
- Participate in production flow and process optimization projects.
- Work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated ability in component fabrication, precision assembly, and testing.
- Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive and professional relationships.
- Flexible and adaptable mindset with a self-driven approach.
- Familiarity with industry-standard CAD tools and concepts related to manufacturing processes.
