Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware ready for test and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Generate, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new products, including build plans and duration estimates.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive the transition from development to production, troubleshooting as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience with aerospace, automotive manufacturing, or similar (3+ years for Level II, 5+ for Level III).
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including GD&T.
- Proficiency in CAD and other software tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively across teams and geographic distances.
