Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware ready for test and flight.
  • Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
  • Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
  • Generate, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
  • Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new products, including build plans and duration estimates.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
  • Drive the transition from development to production, troubleshooting as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with aerospace, automotive manufacturing, or similar (3+ years for Level II, 5+ for Level III).
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including GD&T.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other software tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across teams and geographic distances.
