Responsibilities
- Translate engineering drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment needed for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Create manufacturing plans including build plans and tool lists.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the transition from development to production, troubleshooting as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar manufacturing fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in CAD and other relevant software tools.
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and distances.
