Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware ready for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new product introductions.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive the transition from development to production, performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience in aircraft, spacecraft, automotive manufacturing, or similar (3+ years for Level II, 5+ for Level III).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant technical skills.
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused with a proven ability to work cooperatively in teams.
