Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware ready for testing and flight.
  • Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
  • Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
  • Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
  • Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new product introductions.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
  • Drive the transition from development to production, performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in aircraft, spacecraft, automotive manufacturing, or similar (3+ years for Level II, 5+ for Level III).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant technical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proven ability to work cooperatively in teams.
