Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify necessary tools and equipment for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Support new product introductions by creating manufacturing plans and related artifacts.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive the transition from development to production, troubleshooting as needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing (0-3 years for Level I Engineer).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Proficient in CAD and software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
