Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
- Communicate hardware procurement and fabrication priorities to the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
- Proficiency in CAD and software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100.
- Self-directed and able to balance multiple tasks.
