Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes including inspection, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform engineering drawing reviews and approve manufacturing processes.
- Design and integrate custom manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- Develop process control measures and evaluations through statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure hardware is manufactured and delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in hardware manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of completing manufacturing projects.
- Strong written and technical skills, including proficiency in CAD and other software.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
