Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for various processes including inspection and assembly.
- Manage cost, quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware during manufacturing.
- Review engineering drawings and approve them for manufacturing.
- Design and integrate custom manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- Implement process control measures and conduct statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of hardware.
- Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in hardware manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of completing manufacturing projects.
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in CAD and other relevant software tools.
