Responsibilities

  • Ensure the launch facility components are properly maintained for launch activities.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation and inspection plans for ground systems.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and production teams.
  • Support root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform pre-flight verification testing and post-launch inspections.
  • Maintain configuration of facility and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in supporting test teams as a fluids test engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of cryogenics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and instrumentation related to fluid and electrical systems.
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work off-shift and extended hours as needed.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
