Responsibilities
- Ensure the launch facility components are properly maintained for launch activities.
- Develop and maintain test documentation and inspection plans for ground systems.
- Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, and production teams.
- Support root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Perform pre-flight verification testing and post-launch inspections.
- Maintain configuration of facility and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience in supporting test teams as a fluids test engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of cryogenics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and instrumentation related to fluid and electrical systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work off-shift and extended hours as needed.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
