Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and spacecraft.
  • Generate and execute test procedures for high-pressure and cryogenic systems.
  • Collaborate with technicians in test operations and facility maintenance.
  • Review and interpret test data for facility health assessment.
  • Conduct Process Hazard Analyses and Hazard & Operability Studies.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation and work instructions.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience supporting test teams as a fluids test engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of pressurized gas systems, cryogenics, and fluid systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and instrumentation.
  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee.
  • Preferred experience with fluid systems, automated test equipment, and engineering design standards.
