Responsibilities
- Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and spacecraft.
- Generate and execute test procedures for high-pressure and cryogenic systems.
- Collaborate with technicians in test operations and facility maintenance.
- Review and interpret test data for facility health assessment.
- Conduct Process Hazard Analyses and Hazard & Operability Studies.
- Develop and maintain test documentation and work instructions.
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience supporting test teams as a fluids test engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of pressurized gas systems, cryogenics, and fluid systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and instrumentation.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee.
- Preferred experience with fluid systems, automated test equipment, and engineering design standards.
