Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize production processes for launch vehicle components and ground support infrastructure.
  • Design and implement workflow models and facility layouts for scalable launch operations.
  • Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks.
  • Support tooling and fixture development for improved manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and schedule risks.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations regarding automation and infrastructure upgrades.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in tooling fabrication or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and CAD software proficiency.
  • Experience with GD&T and dimensional inspection methods.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting programs through the product development lifecycle.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree and 5+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
