Responsibilities
- Design and implement optimal factory layouts for assembly and test areas.
- Analyze and define material and information flow through value stream mapping.
- Develop capacity models to identify production capabilities and constraints.
- Serve as the liaison between design engineering and production teams for NPI.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to drive continuous improvements.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations.
- Implement manufacturing plans and work instructions for smooth transitions to production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with factory layout design and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in process modeling and data analysis tools.
- Preferred: Master's degree and experience with high volume production systems.
- Preferred: Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Preferred: Experience with CAD software and discrete event simulation tools.
