Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for assemblies and installations.
  • Manage build sequence and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
  • Design tooling and fixtures to aid the manufacturing process.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them on the production floor.
  • Define and support repair and rework activities.
  • Perform root cause analyses and deploy corrective actions for non-conformances.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
  • Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across large distances.
  • Strong written and technical skills, including proficiency in CAD and software tools.
  • Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is preferred.
