Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for assemblies and installations.
- Manage build sequence and schedule of hardware throughout the manufacturing process.
- Review engineering drawings and provide final approval for manufacturing.
- Design tooling and fixtures to aid the manufacturing process.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them on the production floor.
- Define and support repair and rework activities.
- Perform root cause analyses and deploy corrective actions for non-conformances.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2+ years of direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
- Ability to manage a manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM) and author work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across large distances.
- Strong written and technical skills, including proficiency in CAD and software tools.
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is preferred.
