Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment needed for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Craft manufacturing plan artifacts for new product introductions.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive the transition from development to production, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing (3+ years for Level III Engineer).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing principles, including GD&T.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other technical tools.
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
