Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction for combination product development.
- Influence portfolio decisions related to device strategy and administration routes.
- Oversee an internal prototyping laboratory for design acceleration.
- Drive model-informed development practices for decision-making.
- Develop talents across a multidisciplinary engineering organization.
- Enhance Biogen’s external recognition in combination product development.
- Inform and approve regulatory strategies and represent Biogen with regulatory agencies.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in drug-device combination product development.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for device design controls.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Ability to lead teams through uncertainty and dynamic environments.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for medical devices.
- Established external network across platforms and key opinion leaders.
