Responsibilities
- Manage the Device Lab onsite for a minimum of 3 days a week.
- Develop Test Methods using Instron Mechanical Testing Systems.
- Assist with Project Logistics (Shipping & Handling).
- Support Rapid Prototyping (SLA/FDM).
- Conduct Ad-hoc Testing and Device Builds for ongoing development.
- Participate in DHF remediation and write procedures for Test Method Development.
- Collaborate on various projects related to internal device testing and commercial projects.
Job Requirements
- Technical writing skills for Test Methods and Medical Device DHFs.
- Experience with Instron Testing (performing/authoring tests).
- Proficiency in 3D printing (SLA/FDM).
- Innovative thinking and strong communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Passion for learning and interest in medical devices or combination products.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline, preferably Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
