Responsibilities
- Concepting and designing new electrical systems for robotic automation.
- Prototyping and testing new designs to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Launching products into production and supporting deployed systems.
- Designing electrical interconnect and cable designs using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Developing PCB designs and ensuring compliance with UL / CE standards.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems and controls logic in deployed equipment.
- Managing root cause analysis and rollout of updates, including service bulletins.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- At least five years of related work experience in automation or similar industries.
- Significant experience in designing and bringing automation systems into production.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PCB design (preferably Altium), and SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical panel work and compliance standards.
- Experience with various motor architectures and sensing solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively.
