Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers to design and refine processes, fixtures, and equipment for assembly.
  • Participate in hands-on prototyping and pilot builds, assisting in debugging and improving manufacturability.
  • Support factory line layout and workstation design for improved flow and efficiency.
  • Document assembly processes and write work instructions for technician training.
  • Analyze data from prototype and production runs to identify bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to design reviews focusing on manufacturability and scalability.

Job Requirements

  • Current junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or a graduate student, in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical or manufacturing engineering fundamentals.
  • Passion for hands-on problem solving and building scalable processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics is a plus.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to tackle challenging problems.
