Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to design and refine processes, fixtures, and equipment for assembly.
- Participate in hands-on prototyping and pilot builds, assisting in debugging and improving manufacturability.
- Support factory line layout and workstation design for improved flow and efficiency.
- Document assembly processes and write work instructions for technician training.
- Analyze data from prototype and production runs to identify bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to design reviews focusing on manufacturability and scalability.
Job Requirements
- Current junior or senior in an undergraduate program, or a graduate student, in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or manufacturing engineering fundamentals.
- Passion for hands-on problem solving and building scalable processes.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics is a plus.
- Curious, self-motivated, and eager to tackle challenging problems.
