Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the RF and wireless systems engineering organization.
- Set direction across architecture, integration, validation, and delivery for wireless capabilities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive decisions on wireless performance and reliability.
- Guide investments in tools, processes, and organizational structure for effective scaling.
- Build and develop technical leaders and improve engineering rigor.
- Ensure Axon’s wireless systems are designed for real-world performance.
- Shape portfolio-level direction and resolve cross-team tradeoffs.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of engineering experience with leadership in RF and wireless systems.
- Proven success in leading complex engineering organizations.
- Deep experience with wireless systems development (cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Strong systems-level judgment for tradeoffs across multiple factors.
- Experience guiding engineering organizations from concept to production.
- Ability to operate across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with executive presence.
