Responsibilities
- Lead and support the design, development, and maturation of propulsion systems.
- Utilize modeling and simulation tools to evaluate system performance and fluid dynamics.
- Perform detailed sizing and selection of propulsion system components.
- Evaluate and select materials for compatibility in oxygen environments.
- Drive and support propulsion system and fluid component testing.
- Define, coordinate, and control functional interfaces between propulsion systems and vehicles.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful integration of propulsion fluid systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to project challenges.
- Experience in spacecraft propulsion system design and analysis.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks) and analysis software (e.g., ANSYS).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB.
- Ability to manage technical requirements and design verification activities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to complete a government background investigation.
