Responsibilities
- Own electrical architecture and ensure alignment with system requirements and safety expectations.
- Lead complex hardware development including schematic capture, layout guidance, and component selection.
- Design for flight-critical performance, ensuring reliability and certification compliance.
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers and establish strong engineering practices.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and integration teams to debug and refine hardware.
- Improve engineering operations by refining workflows, tools, and processes.
- Participate in design reviews and maintain high execution quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in designing and integrating PCB-based hardware systems.
- Deep experience with digital processor-based systems and mixed-signal design.
- Strong experience with modern ECAD tools, preferably Altium.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through architecture decisions and design reviews.
- Experience in regulated, high-reliability, or safety-critical environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in an engineer-led environment.
