Responsibilities
- Work on-site with Aurora’s self-driving truck test fleet.
- Perform technical analysis and resolve issues with self-driving hardware systems.
- Build dashboards and tools to track hardware performance.
- Analyze log files and event data using tools like Python and SQL.
- Present test results and summaries of issue investigations.
- Collaborate with engineering design teams and field teams.
- Contribute to the development of issue resolution plans and influence future system designs.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a BS/MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fundamental software engineering skills (Python, SQL).
- Basic knowledge of automotive networking and electrical diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work with lab and field data acquisition systems.
- Ability to interpret complex system architecture and wiring diagrams.
- Returning to a degree-granting program after the internship concludes (Summer/Fall 2026).
