Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, build, and test production embedded vehicle firmware with a focus on security.
  • Evaluate, implement, test, and optimize secure applications in a real-time operating system environment.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and security engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop testing frameworks and harnesses at the unit, integration, and system levels, including security testing.
  • Understand functional safety and security concepts relevant to autonomous vehicles.
  • Work with electronics test equipment and perform hardware debugging.
  • Prior project work in Secure Boot, Firmware Encryption, and Update mechanisms.

Job Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Expert level knowledge of C or C++ programming.
  • Prior project work in Secure Boot and Firmware Encryption.
  • Knowledge in automotive security topics such as SecOC, UDS, and TPM 2.0.
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment and hardware debugging.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Desirable experience with mBedTLS integration and RTOS environments.
