Responsibilities
- Oversee technical execution across the engineering portfolio, ensuring design and testing meet program baselines.
- Lead and scale the engineering function, including hiring and mentoring engineers.
- Manage functional resource planning and workload balancing in a matrix structure.
- Establish and improve engineering processes, tools, and standards.
- Manage the engineering budget and vendor relationships.
- Drive a culture of excellence and innovation within the engineering team.

Job Requirements
- 15+ years of engineering leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or similar fields.
- Proven experience scaling engineering organizations in fast-growth environments.
- Expertise in hardware development lifecycles and regulated industries.
- Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong technical foundation in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and mentor in matrix settings.
