Power Electronics Engineer (All Levels)

The Power Electronics Engineer will work on developing electromagnetic space launch systems, focusing on hardware projects from conceptual design to qualification, particularly in power electronics.

• Provide oversight, design, and testing of high-voltage power electronics systems.
• Develop hardware requirements and build prototypes.
• Select components, design schematics, and perform PCB layouts.
• Validate designs and collaborate with various engineering teams.
• Contribute to the architecture and modeling of power electronics topologies.
• Ensure safety in high voltage environments.
• Utilize basic EE tools for testing and automation.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics engineering.
• Proficiency in magnetics and capacitors for high-power applications.
• Familiarity with schematic capture, circuit simulation tools, and PCB layout techniques.
• Knowledge of control theory and embedded programming experience.
• Comfortable working in a high voltage environment.
• Experience with high-voltage pulse power applications is a plus.
