Responsibilities
- Cultivate a high-performing leadership team and ensure delivery against strategic objectives.
- Own the node hardware architecture, including mechanism selection and structural design.
- Drive hardware requirements for precision, throughput, and reliability.
- Lead design and industrialization of motion subsystems and in-situ metrology.
- Establish rigorous design processes, including design reviews and verification plans.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering for prototype-to-production pipeline development.
- Drive reliability engineering and develop test strategies for hardware nodes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams and driving talent strategy.
- Proven track record of shipping multiple hardware systems to production.
- Deep expertise in precision mechanism design and error budgeting.
- Strong command of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with sensors and actuators integration.
- Background in building hardware test and validation frameworks.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
