Responsibilities
- Cultivate a high-performing leadership team and ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Own the node hardware architecture, including mechanism selection and structural design.
- Drive hardware requirements for precision, throughput, and reliability.
- Lead design and industrialization of motion subsystems and end-effectors.
- Establish rigorous design processes and engineering change control.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to develop production pipelines.
- Drive reliability engineering for nodes and establish testing strategies.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years leading cross-org teams and 7 years as an individual contributor in robotics or automation.
- Proven ownership of hardware systems from prototypes to production.
- Expertise in precision mechanism design and error budgeting.
- Strong command of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with sensors and actuators integration.
- Track record of building hardware test and validation frameworks.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
