Responsibilities
- Cultivate a high-performing leadership team and ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Own the node hardware architecture, including mechanism selection and structural design.
- Drive hardware requirements and specifications for precision and reliability.
- Lead design and industrialization of motion subsystems and end-effectors.
- Establish rigorous design processes and documentation standards.
- Develop the prototype-to-production pipeline in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering.
- Drive reliability engineering and test strategies for nodes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of leadership experience in hardware engineering.
- Proven track record of hardware systems shipped to production.
- Expertise in precision mechanism design and error budgeting.
- Strong command of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with integrating sensors and actuators.
- Background in building hardware test and validation frameworks.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
