Responsibilities
- Learn the software and hardware architecture of Atomic Machines’ systems.
- Collaborate with process, device, mechanical, controls, and platform software teams to define system specifications.
- Document system boundaries, interfaces, and assumptions.
- Refine ambiguous ideas into clear system requirements.
- Define system performance requirements and validation criteria.
- Develop and maintain system models for analysis and simulation.
- Work hands-on with manufacturing robotics and distributed device networks to validate system behavior.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- A first-principles mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and software systems, including sensors and actuators.
- Experience with engineering artifacts such as requirements and test documentation.
- Proficiency in writing application/testing code in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
