Responsibilities
- Learn the software and hardware architecture of Atomic Machines’ systems.
- Partner closely with various engineering teams to translate design intent into system definitions.
- Define and document system boundaries, interfaces, and assumptions.
- Sharpen ambiguous ideas into concrete system requirements.
- Support the definition of system performance requirements and validation criteria.
- Help develop and maintain system models for analysis and simulation.
- Work hands-on with manufacturing robotics and distributed device networks to validate system behavior.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- A first-principles mindset with a foundational understanding of challenges.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and software systems, including sensors and actuators.
- Experience contributing to engineering artifacts such as requirements and test documentation.
- Experience in writing application and/or testing code in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
