Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanisms, end effectors, and robotic systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing of designs and prototypes for performance verification.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on sub-systems of the automated fabrication platform.
- Create CAD models, BOMs, detailed drawings, and technical documentation.
- Utilize PDM and PLM systems, project management tools, and G-Suite tools.
- Engage in hands-on fabrication and assembly efforts in the lab and machine shop.
- Actively seek feedback and adjust approaches based on team input.
Job Requirements
- 7–10 years of relevant industry experience in mechanical design.
- Expertise in mechanical design principles and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of precision engineering fundamentals.
- Self-guided learner with curiosity and adaptability.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collective success.
- Hands-on background in fabrication, machining, and prototyping.
- Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
