Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine thin-film processes for microsystems and their packaging.
- Execute experiments to map processing-structure-property relationships for thin-film materials.
- Operate advanced vacuum processes like plasma etching and co-sputtering.
- Apply characterization techniques to evaluate materials and monitor outputs.
- Perform material property tests for thin films and interfaces.
- Document and report experimental data and key findings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate new processes into fabrication workflows.
Job Requirements
- Preferred disciplines: Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in developing thin-film material processes for commercial applications.
- Hands-on experience with thin-film processing equipment.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and technology.
- Experience with materials characterization techniques.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of work experience.
