Responsibilities
- Own the hardware architecture for the platform and Node systems.
- Lead the design and development of precision motion subsystems.
- Drive hardware requirements and subsystem specifications.
- Provide technical leadership in mechanical design for robotics and automation.
- Lead hardware development from concept through production ramp.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and align priorities.
- Hire and develop a high-performing hardware engineering organization.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in robotics, precision automation, or advanced manufacturing systems.
- 7+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in precision mechanism design and electromechanical systems.
- Proven track record of managing hardware systems from prototype to production.
- Strong command of mechanical engineering fundamentals and design practices.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and scalable production processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity.
