Responsibilities
- Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and testing of avionics systems, structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical components.
- Support integration efforts for rover subassemblies and fully integrated systems.
- Contribute to the development of tooling, work instructions, and process documentation to improve manufacturability and vehicle reliability.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Participate in vehicle testing activities on-site and in specialized facilities.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering).
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience outside of the classroom.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
- Experience developing and testing software for engineering applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Passion for space technology and interest in software development, robotics, and vehicles.
- Ability to work full time and on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks beginning in May or June 2026.
