Responsibilities

  • Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and testing of avionics systems, structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical components.
  • Support integration efforts for rover subassemblies and fully integrated systems.
  • Contribute to the development of tooling, work instructions, and process documentation to improve manufacturability and vehicle reliability.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during assembly and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Participate in vehicle testing activities on-site and in specialized facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering).
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience outside of the classroom.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
  • Experience developing and testing software for engineering applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Passion for space technology and interest in software development, robotics, and vehicles.
  • Ability to work full time and on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks beginning in May or June 2026.
