Responsibilities

  • Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and testing of avionics systems, structures, mechanisms, and electromechanical components.
  • Support integration efforts for rover subassemblies and fully integrated systems.
  • Contribute to the development of tooling, work instructions, and process documentation to improve manufacturability and reliability.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during assembly and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Participate in vehicle testing activities on-site and in specialized facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering).
  • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience outside of the classroom.
  • Experience with electronic instrumentation (power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, sensors).
  • Familiarity with eCAD (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad) or mCAD (e.g., NX, Solidworks).
  • Basic programming experience (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or process improvement techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
