Responsibilities
- Drive system-level and component-level design for rovers and related assets.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of engineers and analysts.
- Develop and manage budgets, operational risks, and technical risks.
- Formulate program and technical strategies for development.
- Facilitate concurrent engineering across multiple engineering teams.
- Guide technical and programmatic milestone reviews.
- Communicate complex technical subjects to diverse audiences.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of experience in space system development in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering spaceflight hardware through the full design life cycle.
- Strong understanding of radiation effects on spaceflight electronics.
- Experience with design programs like Altium or E3.
- Knowledge of environmental testing implications for electrical design.
- Ability to lead in dynamic and flexible environments.
