Responsibilities
- Own fabrication, assembly, and test for high-reliability avionics hardware.
- Collaborate with design engineering, production, supply chain, and quality to ensure reliable hardware delivery.
- Review designs and provide feedback to enhance manufacturability and reliability.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including mBOMs and standard operating procedures.
- Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment for manufacturing and testing.
- Investigate non-conforming hardware issues and drive improvements in processes.
- Support integration and testing of avionics subassemblies and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, or production of hardware systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in high-reliability hardware systems.
- Familiarity with eCAD or mCAD software tools and GD&T.
- Experience with electronic test equipment and troubleshooting electrical hardware.
