Responsibilities
- Assist in executing design engineering activities for multiple projects.
- Assist in designing components and sub-assemblies using Creo Parametric 4.0.
- Use analytic software and prototypes to demonstrate product feasibility.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing to develop or enhance components.
- Assist in writing test plans and work with lab technicians for testing.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as design layouts and BOM.
- Assist Quality and Value Engineers on various projects.
Job Requirements
- Must be a 3rd or 4th year Mechanical Engineering student.
- Completion of courses in Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, and Machine Design is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Fundamental understanding of design processes and manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of Creo 4.0 is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
