Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to create designs for systems and products in the semiconductor industry.
- Perform engineering calculations including structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics problems.
- Create and revise CAD models and detail drawings.
- Determine feasibility of product proposals and develop new designs.
- Prepare product/system designs and related engineering documentation.
- Manage engineering project plans, including scheduling and resource estimates.
- Travel to customer/supplier sites for technical discussions.
Job Requirements
- Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related degree; PhD preferred.
- Experience in engineering, design, and development of complex mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of semiconductor capital equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (CREO, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of materials and relevant standards in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to solve complex engineering problems.
