Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize performance per watt of silicon solutions.
- Develop RTL simulator and emulator-based workloads for power estimation.
- Create visualizations of hardware power signatures and capabilities.
- Review quality and accuracy of data from EDA power analysis tools.
- Evaluate new tools and methodologies for power analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, verification, and architecture.
- Innovate new processes for power performance analysis.
Job Requirements
- Experience in power analysis or related fields.
- Understanding of low power design features and techniques.
- Ability to balance trade-offs between power, performance, and area.
- Proficiency in Verilog or System Verilog.
- Experience with power analysis tools like PowerPro and PrimePower.
- Knowledge of Physical Implementation flow from RTL to STA.
- Familiarity with simulation/emulation tools is a plus.
