Responsibilities
- Work on the specification and development of pre-silicon verification plans.
- Train in modern verification techniques.
- Perform workload characterization to identify power/performance bottlenecks.
- Develop CAD solutions and integrate external EDA tools.
- Investigate trade-offs in Power, Performance, Area, Time (PPAT) and Yield (PPATY).
- Collaborate with experienced engineers in a team environment.
- Document and present work for discussion and review.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering degree program.
- Understanding of CPU microarchitecture and performance concepts.
- Excellent programming skills in C++, SystemVerilog, SystemC TLM, Java, and/or Python.
- Experience with Linux and source control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
- Desire for computer architecture and programming.
