Responsibilities

  • Work on the specification and development of pre-silicon verification plans.
  • Train in the latest modern verification techniques.
  • Perform workload characterization to identify power/performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Develop CAD solutions and integrate external EDA tools.
  • Investigate Power, Performance, Area, Time (PPAT) and Yield (PPATY) trade-offs.
  • Collaborate within small to medium-sized teams following Agile principles.
  • Document and present work for discussion and review.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering degree program.
  • Understanding of CPU microarchitecture, including processor pipelines and memory hierarchy.
  • Fundamental understanding of power and performance concepts.
  • Excellent programming skills in C++, SystemVerilog, SystemC TLM, Java, and/or Python.
  • Experience with Linux and source control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
  • Strong interest in computer architecture and programming.
