Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to explore and implement mechanical design solutions.
- Utilize Creo 3D CAD to create necessary drawings and 3D files for prototyping and manufacturing.
- Manage peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs.
- Structure and release bill of materials (BOM) using product lifecycle management tools.
- Conduct thermal simulations and design heat sinks based on simulation data.
- Perform air flow and thermal testing to support design validation.
- Communicate and resolve manufacturing issues found during prototype testing.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design of computer/network equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in designing sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Familiarity with PTC Creo and thermal simulation tools is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools is advantageous.
