Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate mechanical solutions.
- Implement designs using Creo 3D CAD and provide necessary documentation.
- Manage peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs.
- Structure bill of materials (BOM) and manage product lifecycle using Agile tools.
- Design heat sinks based on thermal simulations and create prototypes.
- Conduct airflow and thermal testing to support design validation.
- Communicate manufacturing issues and support prototype testing in the lab.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for data center equipment is preferred.
- Experience with sheet metal and plastic part design.
- Familiarity with PTC Creo and thermal simulation tools is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to Asia and North America as needed.
