Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to explore and implement design solutions.
- Use Creo 3D CAD to create necessary drawings and 3D files for prototyping and manufacturing.
- Manage peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs.
- Structure bills of materials (BOM) and manage product lifecycle using Agile tools.
- Design heat sinks and perform thermal simulations.
- Conduct airflow and thermal testing to support designs.
- Work with electrical engineers on PCB design and layout concerns.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for computer/network equipment preferred.
- Experience in designing sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Familiarity with PTC Creo and thermal simulation preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with liquid cooling systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with PTC Windchill is a plus.
