Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to meet customer needs.
- Implement designs using Creo 3D CAD and provide necessary documentation.
- Manage peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs.
- Structure bill of materials (BOM) and manage product lifecycle using Agile.
- Conduct thermal simulations and design heat sinks.
- Provide PCB design drawings and collaborate with electrical engineers.
- Perform lab testing to validate prototypes against designs.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for data center equipment.
- Experience in designing sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Proficiency in PTC Creo and familiarity with thermal simulations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel for work-related tasks.
