Avionics Engineer (All Levels)

The Avionics Engineer will lead the design, development, integration, and testing of avionics systems for reusable in-space transport vehicles and lunar surface systems, focusing on high performance and reliability.

• Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for reusable transport spacecraft.
• Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
• Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts for hardware deployment in orbit.
• Foster technical excellence within the Avionics engineering team.
• Design avionics systems that align with company and mission goals.
• Negotiate requirements and provide alternative solutions based on mission objectives.
• Implement test plans and conduct design and readiness reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
• Familiarity with PCB schematic capture, layout, and analysis.
• Flexibility in direction under changing circumstances.
• Track record of delivering novel technical products.
• 2+ years of experience designing complex electrical/control systems in harsh environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering or physics and experience with RF systems and embedded software.
