Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for reusable transport spacecraft.
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
- Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts to quickly put hardware in orbit.
- Foster technical excellence within the Avionics engineering team.
- Design avionics systems that align with company and mission goals.
- Negotiate requirements and provide alternative solutions based on mission objectives.
- Conduct design reviews, test readiness reviews, and flight readiness reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
- Familiarity with PCB schematic capture, layout, and analysis.
- Flexibility in direction under changing circumstances.
- Track record of delivering excellent technical products.
- 2+ years of experience designing complex electrical and/or control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering or physics and experience with RF communication systems.
