Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for reusable transport spacecraft.
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
- Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts to quickly put hardware in orbit.
- Foster technical excellence and ownership within the Avionics engineering team.
- Negotiate requirements based on company and mission objectives.
- Implement test plans consistent with mission risk posture and own test campaign outcomes.
- Conduct design reviews, test readiness reviews, and flight readiness reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
- Familiarity with PCB schematic capture, layout, and analysis.
- Flexibility in direction under changing circumstances.
- Track record of delivering novel technical products.
- Experience managing analysis products and incorporating feedback into design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience designing complex electrical and/or control systems.
