Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for reusable transport spacecraft.
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
- Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts that put hardware in orbit quickly.
- Foster technical excellence and ownership within the Avionics engineering team.
- Design avionics systems that meet company and mission goals.
- Negotiate requirements and provide alternative solutions based on mission objectives.
- Implement test plans and conduct design and readiness reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
- Flexibility in direction under changing circumstances.
- Track record of delivering novel, excellent technical products.
- Experience managing analysis products and incorporating feedback into design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant experience based on Engineer I, II, or Senior levels as specified.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering or physics, experience with RF design, and familiarity with design software.
