Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, and test avionics systems for reusable transport spacecraft.
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
- Drive rapid execution and iteration efforts to deliver hardware quickly.
- Foster technical excellence within the Avionics engineering team.
- Design avionics systems that align with company and mission goals.
- Negotiate requirements and provide alternative solutions based on mission objectives.
- Implement test plans and own the outcome of test campaigns.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline.
- Familiarity with PCB schematic capture, layout, and analysis.
- Track record of delivering high-quality technical products.
- 2+ years of experience designing complex electrical/control systems in harsh environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain flexibility under changing circumstances.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering or physics, experience with RF and communication systems.
