Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers.
- Participate in creative brainstorming for concept generation.
- Conduct engineering analysis to drive design decisions.
- Compare concepts via iterative design, prototype, assembly, and test.
- Lead design reviews at the CoDR, PDR, and CDR level for your system.
- Detailed design of structures, joints, mechanisms, and actuators.
- Perform analysis (FEA, etc.) to optimize and validate design.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the development of robotics systems or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Hands-on experience with basic shop tools and mechanical assembly tools.
- Mastery of engineering fundamentals/first principles.
- High proficiency in CAD (Onshape, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Electromechanical design experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
