Senior Mechanical Engineer - Continuous Improvement

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will focus on continuous improvement for the Apollo humanoid robot platform, driving design, process, and performance enhancements across the robotic system.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the Apollo humanoid robot.
• Conduct root cause analysis on system failures and production inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate improvements.
• Optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability and reliability.
• Design, prototype, and test new components and sub-systems.
• Develop and implement best practices for mechanical assembly and quality control.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on design for manufacturing.
• Expertise in CAD software and FEA simulation.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with humanoid robotics or legged locomotion is a plus.
