Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on manufacturing processes for electromechanical components.
- Determine manufacturing methods and process flows for new parts.
- Evaluate supplier manufacturing equipment and processes on-site.
- Own the new product introduction lifecycle at suppliers.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Analyze supplier quality metrics to identify and improve systemic issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing decisions with manufacturing capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Experience conducting supplier manufacturing process audits.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, and control plans.
- Experience leading root cause investigations using 8D methodology.
- Familiarity with quality management system standards.
- Proficiency with metrology tools and GD&T interpretation.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in electromechanical environments.
