Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
- Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or specifications under general supervision.
- Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components for design projects.
- Perform and document engineering test reports.
- Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty.
- Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling and processes.
- Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts throughout the product life cycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Working experience with CAD software and thermodynamics.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design and material selection.
- Familiarity with manufacturing methods and GD&T.
- Understanding of flow analysis and Design for Excellence principles.
- Willingness to travel (10% of the time).
