Responsibilities
- Design and release mechanical fixtures and tooling for safe and repeatable pilot builds/repairs.
- Create and improve documentation, training content, and mechanical build procedures for new product introduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug build issues and standardize mechanical interfaces.
- Drive engineering change discipline to ensure pilot outcomes are scalable and auditable.
- Utilize mechanical CAD tools and product definition practices.
- Engage in manufacturing-minded design considerations such as tolerance stack-ups and DFM/DFA.
- Work hands-on with hardware in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Familiarity with mechanical CAD software (e.g., NX) and PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
- Understanding of manufacturing design principles and practices.
- Experience with automation and robotics is preferred.
- Knowledge of robotics programming languages and industrial communication protocols is a plus.
- Comfortable in a collaborative and dynamic working environment.
