Responsibilities
- Drive the design of products using predictive finite element simulation.
- Build and run product models for important design load cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to define load cases and mechanical requirements.
- Test, characterize, and develop new material models.
- Validate simulation results through instrumented tests.
- Integrate with the product design team throughout the design process.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive innovation in product design.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of solid mechanics.
- Experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA).
- Attention to detail and commitment to verification/validation.
- Passion for creating cutting-edge products in a fast-paced environment.
- M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with Abaqus, ANSA, and META.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
