Responsibilities
- Partner with tooling and functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase.
- Develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods.
- Implement groundbreaking quality inspection tools for evaluating part characteristics.
- Compile and evaluate data for process and part specifications.
- Balance quality with scalable yields through collaboration with internal and external groups.
- Coordinate Quality Engineering functions for multiple programs.
- Establish audit procedures to ensure alignment with Apple quality standards.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and Quality Control.
- BS/MS in Material Science or Engineering (related fields).
- Experience developing process quality plans and driving corrective actions.
- Knowledge of material science, metallurgy, and mechanical quality concepts.
- Experience with measurement system development and evaluation.
- Project management experience with problem-solving tools.
- Experience in a metals manufacturing environment.
