Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development.
- Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM.
- Manage CAPEX throughout New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time.
- Complete BOM risk assessments and ensure component qualifications.
- Lead cost engineering activities to maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering or supplier engagement.
- Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work.
- Ability to travel 10%-40% and relocate if necessary.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Master’s degree or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
