Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical power system integration activities.
- Design and analyze shipboard electrical power generation, distribution, and propulsion systems.
- Specify and select electrical components suitable for marine and military environments.
- Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, load analyses, and power system architectures.
- Evaluate generator and alternator system performance for optimization.
- Participate in system-level testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Author technical documentation and reports in support of product development.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Expertise in power generation and distribution systems.
- Proficiency in system testing and execution of test procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
