Responsibilities
- Own and drive mechanical systems and platform development from concept to production.
- Lead efforts to define requirements and evaluate mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and mechanical teams for system reliability.
- Conduct design reviews and implement hardware test plans.
- Enhance team tools, processes, and standards.
- Balance operational needs across vehicle subsystems.
- Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years in a technical engineering role.
- Proven CAD skills (NX preferred) and ability to produce engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in structures and mechanisms.
- Experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK/SIMSCAPE.
- Hands-on prototyping experience (machining, welding, etc.).
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
